Business

Thirteen-store sports retailer

The business behind the dashboard

This project brings together a physical store network, its stock information and an ecommerce channel. Each store generates point-of-sale information. That information needs a useful place in the wider operation: in inventory, in the online shopping experience and in management reporting.

Nexo’s engagement connects those layers. Data collection across thirteen stores forms the foundation, with POS integration, inventory and ecommerce feeding a broader retail platform. The integration and the management interface are parts of the same product.

Integration &
data pipelines

Connecting the parts of the operation.

  • Inventory

Stock information connects the physical retail operation with the digital experience.

  • Ecommerce

The commerce layer connects stock information with the retailer’s online experience.

  • Management dashboard

A management-facing interface brings the retail platform into leadership’s hands.

Start with what happens in the stores

The POS connection brings store-level events into the data pipeline. This is the foundation of the project: connecting the information generated during retail operations to the software built around it.

The pipeline links that information to stock state. Inventory can then support both the ecommerce layer and the operations dashboard. This makes the data work a core part of the product, with a direct relationship to the information people encounter in its interfaces.

A dashboard for leadership

The management dashboard was handed to the CEO. It brings the project’s reporting into a leadership-facing interface, extending the engagement beyond stock collection and ecommerce. The build connects two kinds of work: integration with the systems underneath, and an interface for the people reading the information above.

Physical retail and ecommerce in one scope

The ecommerce layer is connected to the stock information behind the physical operation. Its inclusion makes this a broader commerce project, bringing the online experience into the same delivery as store integration and reporting.

The project also includes AI features and AI workers. These sit within a wider engagement in custom software, data and commerce. The shared foundation is the important connection: the work starts with the retailer’s operations and carries through to the software built around them.

A connected retail platform

This engagement combines integration engineering with inventory and ecommerce development, carried through to a management dashboard. Nexo’s role spans the software people see and the data connections that make it useful.
